Ultimate Pie Making Workshop (Weekends)
This unique 3 hour workshop will teach you everything that you need to know to produce a traditional Melton Mowbray Pork Pie to rival the professionals. Step by step you will taken through the process starting with hot water pastry and finishing with making the gelatine.
The workshop will take 3 hours. You will take home your very own Melton Mowbray Pork Pie to bake or freeze for a special day and a baked pork pie ready to eat. Why not start or end your day with refreshments in the Mountain Restaurant on site at the award winning Grange Garden Centre and receive 10% off your total food bill on the day of your workshop! Just present your booking confirmation when paying, booking advised, opens 9am, last orders 3.30pm.

Workshops are available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year at a cost of just £55 each for couples or £60 per person.

We are located just minutes away from the centre of Melton Mowbray. Follow signs for Asfordby, and then for “Brockleby’s Food & Pie Experience”. Our bakery is at the bottom end of the car park for The Grange Garden Centre (J&L).

Pie Making Experience
Our original Pie Making Experience is also still available, offering the chance to make your own pie in an evening. Lasting 1½ – 2 hours, the workshop also includes a talk on the history on our company and the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie.
