A picture paints a thousand words! This is never more true than when capturing the mouth watering qualities of deeply filled award-winning handmade pies.
Our twenty six strong range of pies is expanding rapidly requiring an update and addition to the images on our website! Time to commission some fresh pie pictures including our popular gluten free and vegan range.
Cue renowned photographer Beth Walsh. Beth’s photography work is published both locally and nationally. We wanted to bring more colour, vibrance and variety to our website. Beth’s style is both creative and bold, enabling her to inject this vibrance and energy into our pie shoot. Food photography is a specialised still life genre and Beth’s experience, shooting for publications such as Life Magazine and more recently ‘A Taste of Leicestershire & Rutland’ featuring beautiful Restaurants in and around our County, made her the perfect photographer for us to work with.
Which setting did we select?
We had such fun over the two day photoshoot at our chosen venue. After much searching, we chose one of the Little Britain pubs: The Crown Inn, Old Dalby near Melton Mowbray. It has a beautiful backdrop and surroundings, perfect for Brockleby’s and close by too. Here we enjoyed a delicious lunch and great hospitality. Matt and his team were fantastic hosts; they ensured they topped us up with supplies of coffee during the two days we spent with them earlier in the month.
Visitors to the pub looked on with interest and anticipation as we cut into the freshly baked pies and the all important and infamous Melton Mowbray Pork Pie.
We are excited to share the new mouth watering photos with you of our deeply filled award-winning handmade pies. Hold tight though, they are not on the Brockleby’s website just yet, they will be in place soon!
Our refreshed website also will feature some helpful enhancements to make the Brockleby’s customer experience all the better. We will be announcing more about these very shortly. Watch this space!
