Group Pie Making Experience

Our family run multi-award winning working bakery is located in Melton Mowbray, a vibrant market town in the Midlands known best for the world-famous Melton Mowbray Pork Pies and exquisite Stilton Cheese. It is here that we make a wide range of pies including the British Pie Award’s Supreme Champion Pie of 2023.

We welcome groups of visitors to meet our team and under the expert guidance of one of our specialist bakers, we teach the art of hand-raising a traditional Melton Mowbray Pork Pie in a fun and informative way, Visitors are able to take away the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie they have crafted by hand to bake at home.

This is an experience which can be designed to suit the requirements of your group and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

There are additional options to stay for lunch or dinner when attending a workshop hosted at our Pie Shop in the heart of the town.

You may choose to stay for a light lunch or afternoon tea or indeed enhance your visit with an overnight stay. We can assist with incorporating other local attractions and we may even invite one of the exceptional local food or drink producers to join us during your stay.

There is ample coach parking available, and our convenient transport links, combined with our proximity to the M1, make our location easily accessible to everyone.
